What is Zigmoon?
Zigmoon is an independent studio building fast, private and offline-friendly web tools for creative work — image, video, sound, text, layout, code. Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded by default.
Three principles

- No tracking. No analytics, no ads, no third-party scripts collecting your activity.
- Always usable. The web version is free, forever — no account, no paywall, no waiting list.
Free online and as a PWA · optional support
Online and PWA = free, forever. Open any eligible Zigmoon app in your browser, install it if you wish, and use it fully.
Optional support, via PayPal: a €13 one-time support with nothing in return, a €39/year subscription to follow every new feature by email, or a free-amount donation. All of it supports the collection's independent development, maintenance and infrastructure.

Why local-first?
- Confidentiality — nothing is sent to an external server by default. No profiling, no leaks.
- Speed — no upload, no network round-trip. Processing is immediate.
- Reliability — works on a train, a plane, a film set, behind a strict firewall.
- Control — you own your files, your fonts, your projects. No proprietary lock-in.
- Compliance — fits sensitive contexts (NDA, GDPR, legal, unreleased media).
When an online resource is needed (e.g. fetching a font), it is explicit and under your control.
About the studio
Zigmoon is Simon Dupont-Gellert — designer and creative director based in Orléans, France. Founder of the creative studio 2.13, he officially contributes to the design team of WordPress.org.
Specialised in interface design, UX/UI research and screen technologies, Simon has worked for Samsung, Microsoft, Arte, La Cinémathèque, Sony, Château de Versailles, Radio Classique and LVMH.
He works with Clémence Dupont-Brunet, graphic designer, typographer and teacher (École d'art de Poitiers): refined typography, sober micro-interactions, careful contrast in light and dark mode.
Independent by design
No grant. No investor. No advertising revenue. Zigmoon is fully self-funded. Every tool is built in personal time, on personal equipment.
Independence is the product: the moment we answer to a funder, we answer to their agenda. Optional support (from €13) keeps the studio alive while the web and PWA versions remain free.
